I will be able to sit and watch the fireworks on the Riverfront the 4th of July from my windows. Will be wonderful to sit in the air and not fight the crowds to watch them.

New Apartment

Well I have been busy for the last week moving things into my new apartment. I have until July 18 to be out of the old place so I am moving slowly. I am living downtown now and I am loving it. The place is a lot bigger than my old one so Festus is loving it too. Got my internet and cable turned on here yesterday and also added a DVR which I can already tell that I am going to love.
This week is CMA Fest (or fan fair) so I will be pretty busy the rest of the week so I am sure I won't get anymore moving done until Sunday or Monday. Tomorrow night is the City of Hope Celebrity Softball Tournament and Thursday night I am going to stop by the Hard Rock and see Keni Thomas perform. I will be able to watch the fireworks display after each concert at LP Field from my living room windows. Friday morning I am working Wade Hayes fan club party. It should be a real good time, his first one in about five years. He also has a new CD available for anyone interested just shoot me a message and I will let you know how you can get your copy. After the party I may go hang out at the Riverfront for some of the shows that will be going on there. I also want to head over to the block party and see if I can meet one of my fave soap actors, Thorston Kaye, he plays Zach Slater on All My Children. Sat. morning I am going to swing by the Country Music Hall of Fame to see Joey & Rory (who are AWESOME) perform. Then some more block party and Riverfront shows. Sunday some more Riverfront shows and then rest up.

I will post some pics of my new place sometime in between all the fun. They are on my laptop which is defraging at the moment.

Lazy BEAUTIFUL Weekend:)

Just sitting here uploading my zoo pics. I live three miles down the road from the Nashville Zoo and had never visited it until last month. Even though it is kinda small, I fell in love. I bought a membership so I can go anytime I want. One more visit and the membership is paid for and the rest of the year is FREE! As soon as I get finished adding this weekends photos I will post the link so you guys can check them out. Some of them are available if you click on the Macaws on the right hand column.

Right after my last post I went home for the holidays. No internet access there so couldn't log on. Then I came home and had only been home for three days when I got a call from my mom that a cousin had passed away in his sleep, so I headed to MO. I was there for a week and didn't log on there either. When I got back just wasn't thinking about blogging for a while and then tax season rolled around at work. I bought myself a new camera for Christmas and I am loving it. At the beginning of the year I started a 365 Project. You take at least one pic everyday. You especially try to take pics of the everyday things. I will start sharing some of the pics. Today I want to share a few pics I took at the zoo on Super Bowl Sunday.

Behind Again, What's new?

Got my new camera on Monday and I have been playing and forgot to post. Oops! I went to Opryland Monday to take some pics and then went back and played some more tonight. I have to resize the pics then I can post some.

*If you could go back in American History to experience Christmas dinner and conversation with a typical family of that day, which of the following years would you want to go back to? A: 1620,the year the Mayflower arrived B: 1787,the year the Constitution was signed C: 1863, midway through the American Civil War D: 1899, the turn of the century. I would have to pick C, I would love to sit down with one family from each side and talk to them about their feelings.

*If luck favored you and you won $100,000 during the holiday season, what percent of your winnings (if any) do you think you'd give away to others? Probably 70 to 80%, I would buy everyone I know Christmas presents. I love to watch people light up when they get something they really want.

*Which of the following, if it were completely and permanently removed from the holiday season, would be the most difficult for you to get along without- Christmas Lights, Christmas Music, or Christmas Parties? Think Carefully! Well the parties I can do without, just like this years office party. If it wasn't at one on the 22nd I could head on home Friday night after work instead of Monday. I love the lights and the music pretty equally, so not sure I could pick. Someone would have to pick for me. (Then I probably wouldn't like them to much anymore:).
